5 Must-See Artists To Catch At SMF 2022

1.) Alesso – Day 3 Sunday – 8:45 PM – Sunset Stage

Alesso was one of the first original headliners for the first Sunset Music Festival in 2012 and has not been back since, so it is only fitting that he closes the first three-day SMF on the main stage right where everything started. It is safe to say that all the tricks from down under will take place to make this one of the best SMF closing sets Sunsetters will experience.

2.) LP Giobbi – Day 2 Saturday – 8:15 PM – Horizon Stage

LP Giobbi is a producer-DJ-music director-and pianist. Within the dance music community, she is known for her educational platform, FEMMEHOUSE, which is used to help spread light on the underlining issues of the lack of representation and equity in electronic music. Her music is full of groovy beats and tempos that will have everyone infused with the urge to dance.

3.) Moore Kismet – Day 3 Sunday – 6:35 PM – Eclipse Stage

Moore Kismet is on a journey to not only share their talent across the world but also shed light on the non-binary community, and both go hand and hand with music. Moore Kismet is the future of dance music by transferring their energy from one stage into the crowd by engaging as much as possible and focusing on heavily focused bass drops. 2022 has already been quite the year for Moore Kismet with already playing Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, and Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. Moore Kismet will be a recent high school graduate, so this set is about to pop off!

4.) SIDEPIECE – Day 1 Friday – 9:15 PM – Horizon Stage

SIDEPIECE is a legendary duo consisted of Party Favor and NITTI GRITTI. They have taken the sounds of house music and altered them to electrify the dancefloor and souls of house lovers. SIDEPIECE is coming off hot from their first-ever tour together (KISS AND TELL), which sold out every city they ventured into, and this is the only beginning of their success. The SIDEPIECE project was born during the intense 2020 lockdowns, and instead of dwelling in the past, these two artists joined forces to make a longtime vision come to life and bring light to at the time what was a very dark world that needed house music more than ever before.

5.) Gorgon City – Day 1 Friday – 10:45 PM – Horizon Stage

Gorgon City just held their first successful headlining show at the infamous Red Rocks Amphitheater located in Morrison, Colorado, right after launching a beautiful third studio album Olympia followed by a tour. The English electronic music production duo consisting of two North London producers Kye “Foamo” Gibbon and Matt “RackNRuin” Robson-Scott, put all of their heart and love behind each note, beat, and the sound produced to create the ultimate house vibe.
